I have been going to District Vet for over two years with our two dogs and one cat. We have an elderly cattle dog mix with chronic health issue and... Dr Evans has provided outstanding care to her and our other two pets, who have had mostly wellness visits and dentals. The whole team of care providers from front of house to techs and even the other vets, like Dr Frost have all been super helpful, informative, friendly and professional.We travel from ADMO to Eastern Market because great vet care is worth it.read more

I’ve been coming to District Vet for a couple years now and love this place! Everyone there is ready to love on your pets and always have time for... your questions. I’ve had to call the non-emergency line and make same day appointments and the desk staff is on it.I’ve seen Dr. Camden and Dr. Hayes (all positives), but Dr. Frost has a special place in my heart. She guided me through the excruciating process of my senior cat’s illness and saying goodbye. I’m back with my new cat and know she’s in good hands with Dr. Frost for many years to come.read more

The best veterinary clinic on Capitol Hill. All of the staff are delightful, professional and so efficient - the vets, the techs, and the desk... staff. Very clean offices. Getting an appointment is easy. Both of our dogs have had teeth cleanings and surgeries, and the final cost was always within the estimated cost. They have all the medicine stocked (no need to call ahead, or wait, or order online). And the one time I needed an emergency appointment and they did not have an opening, they found a spot at their Brooklyn office, which is a comparably excellent veterinary clinic.read more

District Vet is the best vet experience any pet owner can ask for. I followed Dr. Tiech from his previous place of employment when he took on his own... practice starting in Brookland. I mostly frequent the Eastern Market location now but trust the care at any 3 of the locations. While every doctor I’ve experienced has been great, Dr. Tiech and Dr. Evan’s are literal angels. They have given the best care to my pups. From the thorough exams, to follow up and even the personal relationships they build…it’s above and beyond anywhere else you would take your pet. The techs and front desk staff at the Eastern Market location are also so welcoming and caring. I can’t imagine taking my pups anywhere else!read more

I am so pleased with the care and treatment of my 12yo ginger tabby by the professional and support staff at this location. Drs. Hayes and Landes... have been wonderful, patient, and gentle w/my fur baby, and visits are not rushed. The vet technicians are amazing. I’ve been able to: make appointments easily; obtain medications onsite (a special ‘shout out’ to Cole, for going the extra mile to get a prescription for us!); receive detailed followup emails from the vets; AND, on street parking is available on weekdays. The front desk staff/receptionists are friendly and efficient.read more
