Dr. Dani Walker is originally from Ohio and is a 2012 graduate from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She joined the team at District Veterinary Hospital in 2015, originally working out of the Brookland office.

Dr. Walker took some time out of clinical practice from 2019 to 2021, spending time working in the pharmaceutical world and in veterinary management. She missed her time treating pets and came back to join us at our Navy Yard location when it opened in 2021. She’s glad to be back in the clinic practicing medicine and building relationships with pets and the people who love them.

When not at work, Dr. Walker spends time with her family, especially her stubborn but wonderful toddler, Eleanor. She has a neurotic cattle dog (Joey), a shy older cat (Elsie) and a crazy kitten (Josh – or “No Josh” as Eleanor likes to call her).
