Dr. Yuri Lee was born in Busan, South Korea. She then spent the rest of her childhood in the DFW area in Texas. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and later graduated from Kansas State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. She also received a Shelter Medicine Certificate during her time at KSU, and she continues to be passionate about helping both owned and unowned animals.

Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is the idea of “One Health”, that health and well-being are multi-factorial. She wishes not only to provide care for animals, but to supply clients with information, tools, and compassion needed to ensure a proper veterinarian-client-animal bond.

Dr. Lee only recently moved to the DMV area and is enjoying the lovely scenery! When the weather permits, she plans on doing lots of hiking and trail walking. During her free time, she enjoys reading, playing video games, and hanging out with her two handsome kitties, Gandalf and Corki.
